The Documentary New Zealand Trust

The Documentary NZ Trust is NZ's leading documentary organization. It runs the DOCNZ International Documentary Film Festival and the DOCNZ Summit. The DOCNZ International Documentary Film Festival is Australasia's only international competitive documentary film festival running in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin, with national and international awards for the best in feature documentary, short documentary, emerging documentary film-maker, education documentary. The DOCNZ Summit is a three day industry event held in Auckland, bringing together international and NZ film-makers, industry, film buyers, festival programmers and officials to participate in master-classes, panel discussions, pitching forums and networking opportunities.


DOCNZ Summit 2009 will run 23-25 February
DOCNZ Festival will run:-
•26 February - 8 March (Auckland),
•12 -22 March (Wellington),
•26- 5 April (Christchurch and Dunedin)
