DBS is NOT a cure it COULD only help reduce the tics and is not covered by most insurances because the medical community still considers it experimental it's a 50/50 chance of sucess not including the 50/50 chance of survival

there's a cure...Deep Brain Stimulation, parang neurological surgery that decreases the occurrence of tics...i don't know if this is practiced in the Philippines basta many are saved by this surgery in America with those having Tourette's Syndrome...

Bagaman may mga taong may TS ang 'di nakapamumuhay ng maayos, marami rin naman sa kanila ang nagawang mabuhay ng normal sa kabila ng kalupitan ng ng mga iilang hindi nakakaunawa.
Mahirap din namang sabihin na mas "mapalad ang mga 'di tinamaan" dahil may mga taong may TS (at iba pang kapansanan) na may mas higit pang nakamit na tagumpay kay sa mga taong itinuturing na "normal."
