Personally I think that this game cannot compare to the GBA: Fire Emblem and Fire Emblem Sacred Stones

reasons why

1. There are no more unique critical attack moves.

2. The 3D fight scenes makes the game look a tad sloppy.

3. The option of changing class whenever you want just kills the purpose of having to train specific characters.

Over all I would give the game 6.8 out of 10.

I suggest u try the first Fire Emblem on GBA. then compare the two =P Try an emulator

there are a few things I disagree with you. The anime look may be generic, but this can be overlooked due to the fact that fire emblem would not be fire emblem without it due to the mere fact that it is the style of this game.

I believe you should not say etc because a review is something you use to inform the listener/reader how is someone supposed to know that the triangle is swords/lances lances/axes or axes/swords besides the one you mentioned? 3/5 stars.

i am a huge fire emblem fan but i felt disappointed when i saw they didn't change ANYTHING from the gba one (besides the 3d cut scenes or w/e)

@samuraiXlegend And how does reclassing "kill the purpose of having to train specific characters?" Have you even played H5? That mode FORCES you to reclass in order to beat it, and who says you can't reclass the characters you want to fill your needs?

@samuraiXlegend You know, it IS largely that selfish "BAWW I H8 THIS GAME BCUZ IT ISN'T FE7" mentality that's why FE12 is unlikely to come to the states... and FE12 is widely considered by those who play it to be not only infinitely superior to FE11 but also one of the best releases in the series since FE4 and 5.

@samuraiXlegend I havent tried this one yet but i will agree with you that Sacred Stones and Fire Emblem for the GBA where amazing! Sacred stones i played through 42 times. That just goes to show how gripping they are.

@samuraiXlegend yeah i kinda hate the re classing thing it means that you can't train a specific characters for his class because you can spoil the class
