Clip showing USAF Capt. Michael Lee flying rocket plane test flight this week out of Edwards AFB. Video by in- cockpit camera. Suited up in USAF MC-4B full body rubber bladder pressure suit with integral anti-G suit and MA-6B full-pressure oxygen helmet for use at edge of space.
Inside the MA-6B helmet an airtight inner rubber helmet is closely fitted round the pilot's head and neck and contains anti-G pressure bladders and large rubber earphones.The entire helmet assembly is sealed to the pressure suit by an inflatable rubber neckseal. Clip taken at altitude 215,000 feet at Mach 2.8, 04/05/2010 about to begin descent into atmosphere. (Communication channel edited out to comply with USAF security regulations)
