He should have been better, and he knows it. Still scores nice goals from time to time, would be nice to see him reach his potential. --------------
Since then Buddle has scored about 42 goals with Los Angeles and 2 for USA national team, and played in the 2010 World Cup.

If he has his life together and keeps scoring goals he'll have to get called up. I saw his 2nd hatrick, it was better than his first. Interesting thing is Donovan and Buddle lead the league in scoring, but they've played about 4 games less than the other top strikers.

The problem is Jozy isn't good at holdup play and he's a winger playing in CF's body.

The correct debate here is whether or not Buddle should've started instead of Altidore, not Findley.

OR if Bradley should have simply given up on the 4-4-2 without Davies, and reverted to a 4-2-3-1 with only one striker (not Findley, either Buddle or Altidore) and an attacking-mid or withdrawn forward.

Fans that don't really understand the sport as a player just don't get things like this.

The starting 11 for a team isn't simply a measure of the 11 best players, obviously. It isn't that simple. Bradley hoped Findley's skill-set could replace Davies' tactical contributions to the formation. He was wrong, but pairing Buddle with Altidore wouldn't have worked either, and just would've caused other tactical problems (namely, a pair of hold-up strikers don't compliment each other at all).

Because he had speed to stretch the field, thus complimenting Altidore's hold-up play, and to harass the opposing backline. Or in other words, Findley was supposed to do what Charlie Davies did.

Buddle needed to supplant Altidore in camp if he was gonna start in the Cup. I'm not saying Buddle isn't better than Findley -- he definitely is -- it's just that it wouldn't have made sense to start to two hold-up strikers in a 4-4-2. Buddle's good, but he doesn't stretch the field.

Nice song choice. haha. Very fitting of his career. I'm glad he FINALLY has gotten his career together and made the World Cup squad, seemingly out of nowhere. I'm surprised he only signed with a bundesliga 2 club, but hopefully he's getting the good payday that he deserves. I feel like he'll be one of Ingolstadt's best players.

We have not taken him on contract, but have left the door open and may sign him in the future,

we need someone with prem experiance at the moment, so hope to see him back in the summer.

Shame because the tube clips show him to be pretty good, but the prem is another level alltogether.

he's now back with LA Galaxy, so might make some of you happy..

Whatever happens, wish the lad luck....
