Make sun, rain, or the most intense cold. People living on the streets and abandoned. But all have a story and a destination.

The conception of this little video, was when I was driving through the downtown of Sao Paulo, listening to the Beatles' Eleanor Rigby, it was a night of intense cold.

Immediately reminded of a photograph in which I had taken, in which a homeless than to note my camera in hand, asked me to photograph it in style and posed in their "backyard".

At the time that I photographed, it was summer, not that it lessened the burden of sleeping on the streets, but in winter it becomes much more painful. I thought about how she was not only her but many others who live in a state of total abandonment.

Had the idea of using a single photo that had her, and make the short journey of dreams and reflections. Where the golden clothes blends with other intense colors and vivid, contrasting with cloudiness, entwining with our daily lives.

The ultimate revelation, like a photographic print, occurs in an instant, when it reveals the strength of a steady gaze and decisive. One look at us.

----

  • Those who clatter down the street, those who clatter around in their humble abode all alone, those who enter the fray and knock elbows-there are different degrees of lonely people. Sometimes, it's better to be alone than to be lonely. That's where some of them come from.
