when my grandfather was still alive one of his really good friends that became family in a way was one of Captain Terrys Hatton aunts.

I was at your dad's funeral at the time I was a Vol FF in WI I'm now full time. Just want you to know he's not forgotten. I carry his funeral card with me every shift in my helmet.

Capt. Terry Hatton was my grandmothers cuz. So i guess he would be my great cuz. Never got a chance to meet him, but I couldn't be more proud and Honored to be family with a hero like him!!!

you are a lucky man to have a dad like that, true hero and all of ladder 3 was from what I hear. god bless and I am sorry for your loss I hope you follow in his footsteps firefighting is a great way of life
