In late 2003, I tried getting "UDINK", which is my last name, on a personalized license plate in Utah. The Utah State Tax Commission/Division of Motor Vehicles denied my request. I appealed their ruling, but ultimately I was shot down.

  • Nope, even with the legislative rules committee involved, the DMV wouldn't budge on their stance. :(
