Classic Game Room HD reviews BLAZBLUE CALAMITY TRIGGER Portable for Sony PSP from publisher, Aksys. BlazBlue is a 2008 arcade game from Arc System Works which found its way onto the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 PS3 in 2009. The game is well received by fans of fighting games and comes to the portable Sony PSP in 2010 with BlazBlue Calamity Trigger Portable! The PSP is the current handheld to get for fighting games with a fine selection of titles. Games like BlazBlue explode off the screen with a vibrant, superb widescreen presentation and blazing high contrast visuals. The characters in BlazBlue are the stars and bring creativity and freshness to what could be "just another fighter". For the most part Blaz Blue is similar to the popular Capcom and SNK 2D fighters like Street Fighter and King of Fighters but with some unique special moves, character animations and bizarre visuals. BlazBlue PSP packs an arcade mode, ad-hoc multiplayer, a legion mode (survival mode) and storyline. The story makes no sense to me but who plays fighting games for a story? That's why you play Donkey Kong. This CGR review of BlazBlue Calamity Trigger on PSP has gameplay from Blaz Blue Calamity Trigger on PSP showing Blaze Blue game play from the PSP-30001.

  • Can he launch electric deathfrogs? no well someone in this game can. funniest shit ever

  • He didn't give the storyline the credit it's due. It's actually very good. When do you get that from fighting games? Not very often.

  • @whitemamba345 Component video cable, dude.

  • how did you record the Gameplay wiithout CFW?

  • @xxXYoAriYoXxx continuum shift 2. its pretty much the same but with more content and a different story

  • What the fuck is this..? Looks awesome.

  • Does this have wifi vs?

  • which one is better continuum shift 2 or this?????

  • umm no offence bbut fighting games have the shittiest storylines..imo

  • It's called "Distortion Finish"/"Distortion Drive" moves because they cause distortions in the space-time continuum, and groundhog day loops and alternative timelines are central points in BlazBlue's story. On a related note, the rounds start with the announcement "The wheel of fate is turning" because of the endless, ever-changing time loops the world is stuck in, and the rounds are called "Rebels" because the struggle is about rebelling against said fate and breaking the loops.

  • I don't usually like fighting games since they are not my forte but I can see why someone would like this game.

  • hot cheetos + red finger + classic game room = awsomeness
