@BS15RED well 1) i dont actually live in sunderland, ill bet where i live is far nicer than where you live. and 2) if sunderland is a "run down shithole" then what the fuck is coventry?! and for all its redeeming features, bristol aint no utopia either!

@fez41 let the fans in aye, pretty sure there was 5 or 6 times as many fans to watch safc at goodison park, yet they all got in and everton had the game kicked off on time....

last game of the 1977/78 season He delayed the kick off of the Coventry game until the result of Sunderland game was known. Coventry and bristol city (?? I think).sunderland lost to everton then coventry and bristol virtually stayed in their own halfs,passing to each other guaranteeing they both stayed up but subsequently relegating Sunderland. Now this was cheating of the highest order. The FA should have done something!!
