Just curious - I was in grade school in the '60's and remember them in the raider get-up with the tights and boots,etc. but then if I remember right - they quite wearing those outfits - like this video. Does anyone know why? I'm assuming they felt more-or-less established as a band and didn't need the "props" to get people to listen to them. Is that right?

@suebee3490 One reason is because the Raiders' lineup had changed by late '67. Also, they were trying to keep their music more 'current' with the psychedelic late 60's...which meant giving up the Revolutionary uniforms.
