  • I'm happy to report that "Little Big Sturgeon Inc." has withdrawn their Consumptive Use Permit water use application. A huge thank-you to all of you who wrote in to express your opinions about this proposed enterprise.

    All the best...

    David Beede

  • Some have commented that Kirby Green's email box is full, so I've added other contact info in the side notes. Of course letters are always given more weight than emails or calls. Thanks to everyone who've gone beyond the "good idea" to taking good action!!

  • great video. i agree. keep melrose sturgeon free!

  • In the true spirit of Pete Seeger and his fight to save the Hudson River. Great job, David. Like you, I remember the vibrant natural wonder that Florida was before monied interests and politicians paved it and sucked it dry. Keep fighting the good fight!

  • This is inspiring! Excellent. Wish we had a second video of some of the Melrosians who spoke at the meeting and that great guy from the company in Gainesville.

Hope we can save our water.

Thanks so much for your remarkable creativity and great music and lyrics that are right on point.

  • Brilliant message and I hope you guys win the battle.

  • Got to get this out to everyone...with enough public awareness, maybe we can take on the big guys. These are critical times. I continue to be staggered bt all the profit-motivated waste. Thank you, David!

  • Well done...this should be viewed by all District Directors...

  • Here's to hoping the best interest of the citizens win out!

  • Great message, and great music. Thanks for the effort.
