  • I'll watch any video with the great late Dan in it PLEASE if you have more post them

  • @craig8754 Thanks for commenting. I just posted "Lonely People" last week for the Dan Peek fans out there, check it out if you haven't seen it.

  • Here's a liitle gem I found on a 70s compilation disc I got in a trade a few years back. Unfortunately there was a glitch on the disc, so dvd shrink wouldn't read it. I was determined to get this up, so I pieced it together in windows movie maker. Lost a few seconds of the end guitar solo from the glitch, but the rest seems to be intact. One of my favorite America songs, hope you enjoy!

  • i am currently covering this song professionally ....thanks for this for some extra ideas....release march 4th on my channel.

  • Thank you for posting this and sharing it with all of us! An awesome performance by one of my favorite groups!

  • Thank you America for this great song and thank you military vets for your service and risking your lives for all.

  • This was about Vietnam. It was about us trying not to fall asleep and end up being killed while we slept...not like we ever slept much much anyway. Just a thankful combat survivor, like many others. Nam '72

  • I was an SP in the Airforce in the early 80's. This song always reminded us of our careers and we made this the unofficial song of USAF cops in the early 80's

  • I remember watching this on ABC's In Concert on a teeny little black and white TV and recording it with a cassette player and microphone. Fabulous song, fabulous band.

  • My fav America tune, I liked it when it first came out decades ago and I still like the sound even though am an old fossil. Don't know how you came across a high quality classic video like this, but I dig it. I actually graduated from high school in 1973.

  • Thanks for posting this. It's my favorite song by America. Saw them earlier this year in Dubuque IA; they still put on one hell of a show.

  • Thank you SO much...
