Over here in the United States it all depends on where you are driving and what state or locality you are in. In most places they give you some leeway.
Also, photo radar is not used very much.
People have fought against its use and the legality of using it is not very clear.
If you plead that you are innocent of the speeding charge, there is the right to face the arresting police officer in a court of law.

I think they're pretty relaxed when it comes to speed limits in Belgium and Germany.
The other country's you mentioned are more strict on them.

I enjoy your videos. I do not like speeded up videos because they do not present a realistic picture of the driving environment.
What speed do you like to drive?
Where do they enforce speed limits and where are they are more lenient? France? Switezerland? Belgium? Netherlands? Denmark?
