Add &fmt=18 to the end of the web address for high quality playback! Another way to approach low volume overdrive. Instead of using an attenuator and getting OD from the power section of the Princeton, this time it's the Tube Driver's OD in the preamp section (5751 NOS USA Tube used). The Princeton's volume is only at 2, so all that sag is from the Tube Driver. If you want to hear single note runs from an amp with more headroom, check out Eric Johnson 48 seconds into this vid:

  • Great tone! What tube are you using in it?

  • @sergioguitar a 5-Star GE 5751 tube I believe.

  • What song are you playing? sounds great

  • @dino6888 Start with the E major chord, then basically slide that shape up and down the board!

  • It looks like a Chandler tube driver, not a BK Butler.

  • @jrocky1 technically the name is the BK Butler Tube Driver by Chandler Industries. BK Butler would later leave Chandler and put out a Real Tube rack, but would never have a rack with just BK Butler on the face, like his current stomps do.
