um.. youre correct about the first part, in fact youre correct about both things u said. Science can tell us how we got here, but i dont think anyone has an answer for why we are. There might not even be an answer. Or maybe theres an answer but we might never get it. Im secure enough to tell myself "I don't know". Im ok with not knowing. We should ALWAYS keep searching for answers to these questions but what we should never do is throw in with something that hasnt yet been proven

@sharpanator Like I said, religion is is based off no evidence, which is why most scientists don't like it.

@sharpanator You can never disprove religion(s) or god(s). They are based on the fact that there isn't proof or evidence. If there is no evidence, how can you disprove it? And its around 96-98% human genome to apes. As for the whole seven days, thats all based on interpretation. It can be literal or metaphorically.

@sharpanator liife came to its self the way we know it by "descent with modification." And of course everyone knows you can't prove or disprove any type of religion. Religion is believing in something that you don't have proof of and never will.

@sharpanator If you are trying to sound smart, the most accepted scientific theory is about 4.5 billion years ago, tons of asteroids kept crashing together forming a mass of molten rock, this happened for millions and millions of years. Finally the planet starting cooling off and a single celled organism was created from the amino acids among other things (again mostly accepted view is life started in the ocean) from the asteroids (theres i think about 17-60?) different amino acids found inthem
