  • Hi

Sorry for the delay, been away on business.

As an EDF ubit, I think the KV of the motor needs to be a little lower. Its pulling lots of thrust but high amps. If you have a big model like a turbine conversion, then this is a good unit. The new one is lighter and has better heat dissipation.

But its cheaper than an BVM EVF which also has a high current draw, the new version is lighter than the EVF and it is $500.00 cheaper.

All depends on the model you plan to put it in?

  • Well have you consider the fact that after the model is in the air and have reach full speed the Kv consumption will drop greatly? you have to remember that the dynamax fan wen is pulling static thrust is consuming all that power to keep that fan turning at all those rpm's ! but ones in the air and running that is a totally different game!

  • Where can you buy these?

  • looks very promising!!

nearly blew the skin off yer arm

  • Hi I am considering the Dynamax fan unit as electric, any good results with your testing and how is the motor mounted on the unit?

    Thanks
