@cammicty You must be tone duh, if you heard the NOTE FOR NOTE, by Jennifer Hudson & Patti Labelle but think J-Hud, vocals can't stand a chance against P-belle's voice. If money was on this, I would win considering J-Hud, VOCAL POWER, RANGE & THE CLIP OF MATCHING, PATTI, HIGH NOTE FOR HIGH NOTE!

@SoulSir Sorry clean your ears, I love Jennifer but even she knows she will never Match Patty, or Rochelle Ferrell and a few others. Just because you have a powerful voice means nothing! She could never match her note for note! Now there are plenty of older Gospel singers that can! I would win hands down, if money were on the table!

@committee I beg to differ. Jennifer Hudson can match patti high note for high note & Jenny's age has nothing to do with her vocal ability. Minnie can sing but she's no match for Patti's vocal velosocity like Tonya Blunt is.

@SoulSir, Yes they can pay Tribute to Patty, but as amazing as they are, in reference to hitting Pattys notes as clearly as she does, can only be Rachelle Ferrell. Chaka Khan can blow! Jennifer was not even around then, too young to ''Pay Tribute'' also Tonya is good, but she's no Rachelle. Rachelle like Patty, can belt notes that break glasses, and Ive witnessed it personally. Now if Phylis Hyman and Minnie were still alive, they could also handle Patty's songs!

I'm incline to agree she has the most powerful voice on the planet and I love tha way she sings, and not only taking a group song and making it into a solo, but also making it into her own. nothing but pure beauty. this song is on my ipon and has played over 1000 times on my itunes
