  • awasome video

btw is the media player both portrait and landscape or is only landscape? thankx

  • @hhmah The video selection screen of the Media Player supports portrait mode, but I'm not sure if video playback supports or not, since it's not working well in this Release.

  • well its not bad ,, but we expected better .. here is the question : how much shall we wait till it's ready to be used by us " users " ?

we really waited so long ..

and thank u so much for ur time and effort

  • @romanticdevil The new MeeGo device(s) will be released in June, but that is according to rumours and unconfirmed news.

  • y da fuck r u shaking da phone so much??

  • @Taal3i No, N9 will be MeeGo. It doesn't mean anything that the icons look like Symbian. Nokia choose the same graphic style for both OS.

  • i'm just wondering if the meego harmattan will be available on the N900 ? because it looks awesome on n9

  • I almost went to sleep 3 times watching the video... =P

  • maemo looks much better than this///

  • meego will never become a end user consumer os... sad but true

  • @qayumization lmfao

  • Is this 100% open source? GPL3?

  • @vssvarun I used to own a Maemo device and that was very nice, but Nokia chose to abandon all the stuff they had and start over with Maemo. Apparenty that required more work than they expected.

  • How about having the device on the table and not moving it around all the time? Nauseating to watch.

Meego itself, at least on that device and as a developer preview, is quite far from ready. No wonder Nokia jumped ship. No time to wait for a couple of years for it to be ready to be used and already old-fashioned. Then again, it's Linux. It usually is.

  • how many people are working on meego right now? 1 or 2?
