Three girls from Pony Club prove you can run Texas barrels in an English saddle at the Greene County 4H Rodeo.

Beautiful buckskin. I got one, he's a trained barrel horse. btw, that's the clover leaf barrel pattern (((: texas is when there are 3 barrels and you need to weave.

@westerncowgurl4eva yeah but jumping is an english event and I know people that jump in western sadles. same thing. they are good riders a true cowgirl would recognize that.

REALLY??? Very good job! Poco is an awesome lil dude. And that comment above my first one...blah blah blah...good riding is good riding. Just cause you are in an english saddle running in a "western" event doesn't mean sh**. People sometimes forget that its about having fun. ;) Way to go, kiddo. :)

the lil gal on the fancy buckskin the first 35 or so seconds of the video...what a good lil rider, and that lil pony LOVES to run! I've run barrels for ages and did it once in an english saddle...lol. It's a LOT harder than these kids make it look. *high five kids!!*

haha yeah that is me on my pony poco, he is my mounted games pony. i have some videos of him doint that too. he is the best pony ever, and yes he does love to run [:
