I'm still here after the Rapture so this is what I made. This is a very cool construction. The majority of the figure is made with Pentagonal Frames and Hexagonal Cylinders.

Pentagonal Frame = 80 balls
24 Pentagonal Frames = 1920 balls
3-layer Hexagonal Cylinder = 18 balls
60 Hexagonal Cylinders = 1080 balls
Bridges between Pentagonal Frame vertices = 300 balls

1920 + 1080 = 3000 + 300 = 3300 balls

  • @MegaVirus700 : An unexpectedly keen observation from a metabolically inert, infectious agent. ;)

  • can you show a video of you crushing it with a hammer? cause that would be awesome!

  • @RaGiNgBaNaNa101 : Well, if this figure still existed, I would put a crushing video together for you. However, I would not use a hammer so as not to damage the magnets. Alas, the figure is no more, a crushing is not possible. :)

  • I wonder if a center point can be filled with some magnets to strengthen it, I'm going to try that out. Thanks for the shape. This one is definitely one of my favorites.

  • Very nice build! I was able to make one too following your instructions. It was lots of fun and I learned a lot. Thanks!

  • Can you kick it?? It does looks like a soccer ball...
