@RepairsUniverse Yea, the slide assembly really had me stumped. I checked your prices for the screen replacement and it was the best price I've found. I'll be ordering one soon.

@hollisprophet Sounds like the LCD is damaged and will need replacing. You can find the replacements cheaply at RepairsUniverse (dot) com if the cleaning doesn't work.

can i replace the screen (front glass) without taking the phone a part ???

@reniaszek Sadly, no. The flex cable and its connector is located on the interior of the phone.

Thank you, this looks like a very complicated disassembly. I looked at the phone and couldn't figure out how to take it apart.

@tdjtx No Problem! The Shadow is not the easiest phone to take apart, but far from the hardest. Does take some patients with the slide assembly.

My screens not broken, its just when I slide it up the backlight turns off. It works perfectly when its closed but once I slide it up, the backlight turns off. Now I have to keep trying multiple times till I get lucky and the light stays on.....this sucks. Does anyone know how to fix this?

@ebsanu Sounds like the LCD ribbon connection is bad. To fix this you will need a new replacement LCD screen.
