China and the USA are both great in different sports. China prevails in sports that offer more medals, such as diving, badminton, etc., while the US prevails more in sports such as basketball, which only offered one medal per gender. I'm not taking anything away from the Chinese, because they had a great Olympics and won the gold medal count. But also you have to take that into account before you say there is one top nation just based on that. But for now China does have the bragging rights!

IDK.. .6 is a small margin in the new code in my opinion, I mean Jordyn Wieber won the US nationals by 6 whole points, and the scores are lower in the '09 code, so no .6 is a small margin.

dancelife450 technically Olympic champion knocks off that title:/ hate to break it to you. If someone wins nationals... Then the next year someone else does that person isn't national champion. So the olympics right after that proves nastia was technically national champ:) and the current national champ is like aly raisman or bross right?
