Excel has a tip by using SUMPRODUCT. However, in google spreadsheets if you use that you will only get the first element. Here I use Filter and then wrap it in a Sum function in order to Sum numbers based on more than one condition. As far as I know if you use CountIf you can only have one criteria.

Thanks for a very useful post, I was totally stuck until I found this. It works with a Count function too, e.g. =Count(Filter(G:G,C:C="High"))
