David Cameron recently spent a day with volunteers at the Airedale General Hospital in West Yorkshire.
The volunteer army we have in the NHS is incredibly worthwhile, and it's something that we should see more of.
Webcameron is the personal video blog of David Cameron, leader of the Conservative Party, where he gives you a behind-the-scenes look at what he's been up to. Visit http://www.conservatives.com for more information.

You REALLY don't want a private NHS.
Believe an American!!
In the US there are 50 million uninsured, millions more under-insured, health care bills/excesses/deductables are the number 1 reason for bankruptcy & homelessness, there is a lower life expectancy than in the UK (even though we spend more!), people with diabeties/arthritis/asthma are punished with inadequate cover/no cover/hiked up premiums.
Insurance companies will ALWAYS squirm out of paying up when you most need them.

Try going to A+E on a sat night about 11;30PM,go there on a bus, casual dress and get your number like everyone else, then close your mouth open your eyes and ears. Its dead plundered by middle management whom can only look back over their shoulders, instead of forward .The care industry is rotton to the core,it is incapable of caring , and looks for profit where there is none.Horror stories will abound

You can't get the specialist care that DC needed for his son in private healthcare, it's only available on the NHS. Most specialist care is done by the NHS. Private medicine is a con and not worth bothering with as all A & E units are NHS. DC has used the NHS alot and he has a soft spot for it. This is why I believe in him and his party and he will get my vote.
