The problem why cars use so much gasoline is because the design of the motor are to complex. Simplify the motor like an inline 4 cyclinder like a model T. One barrel carborator. Make the motor start and stop on red lights. charge a group of batteries while gas motor is running and on long distances use an electric motor hooked up to the drive shaft by a rubber belt. Go back to making car for what they where meant for transportantion. not an personal identity.
