adha is a condition that ioften the kids grow out off, does a child grow out of autism , down sydrome ocd, ect no they settle down in to a routine and are manageable ,its proved adhd is caused by lack of sleep no rules and getting away with everything , what would you do if you never get punished and all you know is doing what you want off coures you ill want to fight back what would you rather do sit down and do school work or play or be outside

False! Having Learning Dissabilities is NOT a a label, and it doesn't mean you are stupid, slow, or retarded in any way, shape or form. ADD and any other form of Learning dissabilities is very real. L.D. is not a limitation. All it means that a child learns in a different way, and I don't mean "slow". Having LD is nothing to be ashamed of. Just google "celebrities with Learning DIssabilities". What you find may surprise, and hopefully enlighten you.

It just means you learn in a different way than other kids. Again, I want to stress that L.D. is not a "label" and it doesn't mean that you are stupid, retarded, or slow.

I'm glad things worked out for this man and his son. But speaking as an adult who has lived with ADD almost her entire life, having ADD or any other form of Learning Dissability is not a "label" and does not imply that a child has any sort of limitation. If people actually believe this, they have been grossely missinformed. Having L.D. doesn't mean you're "slow", "retarded", or "limited" in any way.

Learning disability is a lie from the commie teachers unions and school boards.

Dad never allowed others to put false limits on the potential his son holds for a very successful and intellectually stimulating and rewarding life. What a great Dad..made me cry a little.

I wish too my parents did the same for me when I was a kid. I had to wait 15 years to take care of it my self...
I think what you did for you son was incredible. I wish my parents had done for my brother what you did for your son.
