Instead of killing the idea of show, why didn't they just reshoot and let him use his real accent? It could have been part of the plotline in future episodes!

Why are people being so judgemental? For a scottish man, he speaks a pretty good american accent. He was trying his best and at least give him credit for doing so. It really bugs me that people put him down and tell him that he sucks. Anyone who says that shouldn't be talking because they probably would suck at doing David's scottish accent too. Give him a break. Nobody's perfect. >:P
