In Fiji, the President is guarded by the Police and the Army. They take it in turns guarding the Presidential Palace and once a month they hand the duty over with a changing of the guard ceremony.

  • 2 FIJI borne servicemen have died today in afghanistan fighting fo us english. i just like to say you fijians are awesome . there are 500 fijians , 600 samoans . in the uk army , every single one of them is needed . we welcome them all in our army . those 2 brave lads will never be forgotten here , rest in peece lads . thats 23 south sea islanders to die in the english army in 9 years. i thank them all.

  • Fiji has a proud military history. Ive served with and helped train some of there troops its a shame though that certain leaders need to poke there noses into the countries political affairs.
