What does Audi have in common with VW? different platform, quattro, different interior, really, the only things in common are that VW owns Audi and that they use the same engines, some electronics and some minor mechanical bits ...like light switch

nope. Quattro uses Torsen mechanism, while 4motion by volkswagen is a haldex system. The only exception was one Passat where they fitted Torsen, and sadly A3 (which I must agree - is just a rebranded Golf) where they fitted haldex
