rosalind's 1934 film debut as "the other woman" in the myrna loy/william powell vehicle, "evelyn prentice". the film was released only a few months after the hays code began to be strictly enforced. thus, any "unseemly" actions between powell & russell's characters are merely implied. there is nary an embrace to illustrate the adultery, and yet, the implications remain unmistakable.
this film is available on DVD from warner home video, under the title "myrna loy and william powell collection". if you would like to purchase it, it is available on amazon.
directed by william k. howard, 1934
