Alternative to Gateway FHD2401 speaker bar

I was having a hell of a time looking for a place that still sold the speaker bar for my monitor. I couldn't find one, but what I did find is an alternative that works great. This video covers that alternative. If you have any questions, feel free to comment.

Thanks for this, I was searching for the cable and didn't know what it was called. Why did Gateway have to make this monitor such a PITA sometimes?

Hello.

I recently bought this cable:

It has the 3.5 mm male jack and single rca female. I hear a clicking sound when I connect the 3.5 mm to my speakers. Any way to relieve this? If I connect my speakers to the rca output, I only get mono sound.

I'm having the same problem,... I just hooked up my xbox 360 with the hdmi... and I have no sound and no speaker bar, cant find one any where. You said for the other type of speakers I need female adapters?
