Guys did you even tried to understand the meaning of the song? English lyrics might not be good but the song itself has an awesome meaning, it's telling that it's totally fine to date someone form the same sex and I think it's pretty cool that the song is being well accepted!

I wasn't too into this group at first, but then I did check out the English lyrics. This song is -hold your pants- about being a lesbian and telling people that it doesn't matter if (quoting Lady GaGa) you're 'gay, straight or bi'. Yes, that's right, a rookie idol group in the not so LGBT friendly Korea busting out a song with LGBT values. Pretty impressive.

well... hahaha yup the english is weird, but "can I kiss ya baby girl" is ok... since they are talking about "girl or boy... doesn't matter, just love" :D

When this playlist came out I only watched a bit to find an extra song for my cd, and I was so happy that GLAM was the one I chose! It's cool about the lyrics, but I agree with what Martina says about the english... because that line "can I kiss ya baby girl?" I totally thought was more bad english. Since english is the part of the song I know I can sing, it's very hard to overlook when it's bad. Love the song otherwise! Really catchy and happy!

sorry but one does get hooked on a song because of meaningful lyrics. you may not but the rest of us do. & if its catchy well then that's even better.

I always took it as more of a stand up for women and feminism thing. A kind of not only guys are allowed to go crazy thing. The Asian gender roles are a lot more reserved than those in Europe and America so yeah. I pretty much thought of it that way...I took the kiss line as a filler nonsensical line, like most kpop songs have.

I can see how they'd make you like a song more, but one doesn't get hooked on a song because of meaningful lyrics. Otherwise I could write a crappy song and put heartfelt lyrics to it and boom instant success

as for the meaning of GLAM's song, I thing people are a bit too enthousiastic about it however you have to be blind to not see all these signs; they do talk about girls' love. "Are you a boy? Girl? I don’t care" "take off the blindfold that covers your eyes" "Because we break the rules" "anyone can be a Romeo" ... can't be more obvious than that and the "Can I kiss ya baby girl?" of course. That song is about L.O.V.E and being happy, they deliver the message extremely well!

...You're stating something that's not true for everyone, please don't be so obtuse.To me, a song gets your attention because it's catchy and gets stuck in your head (especially pop songs) however, a song grow on me when I realise the lyrics are actually interesting. Exemple? "Born to be a lady" by SNSD is a pretty generic song, I expected the lyrics to be stupid and even anti-feminist judging by the title. The lyrics however, made me fall in love with the song, they have a powerful message.
