What if CBS would acquire TV rights to Alvin and the Chipmunks (under license from rights-holders Bagdasarian Productions)?

This would make sense since Paramount owns the video rights.

  • My god, they must have replaced the Worldvision Enterprises Inc with CBS Television logo....wierd

  • @PhilosophyDragon81 Worldvision never had rights to the Chipmunks...this is what this variant spoof is based off of, if CBS had the rights to the 80s Chipmunks series

  • They already have the TV rights to the Chipmunks (the early 60's TV show).

  • @LogoAttitude WB TV Distribution has the rights to the 80s version.

  • You are both wrong. I looked online and Rubik is owned by Warner Bros. just like most of the rest of the Ruby-Spears shows. It was just never played on Boomerang, I think.

  • @Neville6000 no, Sony owns that. CTD does own all the animated spin-offs of Happy Days, though (some of which ware also produced by Hanna-Barbera), and also, TV rights to Rambo and the Forces of Freedom (under license from StudioCanal, successor to Carolco Pictures)

  • I get what you mean. BTW, CTD already owns a Ruby Spears show, I believe-it's most likely Rubik The Amazing Cube.

  • I meant what if CTD acquired the rights to the 80s version

  • I meant the 80s show
