i think reading bendis run is tremendessly helpful. but you stll can understand whats going on. dont get your hopes up too high for the rest of brubaker's run on DD. alot of the trades are hit and miss becausde brubaker choses to do an over arching story that at time has lows for 6 issues or so.. these 6 issues is sometime are whole trades.. such weak points lowers the whole run the devil inside was the best part

Great topic and review, I think DD works best with a strong creative team. But if a good team is not on the character, then the books are usually stale.

I haven't read any of the Daredevil comics either. What about the Frank Miller novels? Is there an Omnibus for the Daredevil graphic novels?

@fernandoiscrazy If you use the search feature on my channel, look up "Daredevil - Miller vs Bendis Review." I talk about Miller's run in that video; hope that helps. :)

I agree Brubaker's initial run after Bendis was a spectacular prison drama told in an almost noir type way, but I really did feel for Brubaker & all the writers that came after as Bendis had not really left anyone any room to develop DD as a character other than to drop more levels of pain unknown to any other character before or after him. It's why I am enjoying the relaunch with Mark Waid so much as he's written DD with a more refreshing & almost whimsical tone but still dynamic and exciting.

@GhostCritic Yeah, I've heard some good things about it, so I'm actually pretty intrigued.
