Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) speaks against the stripping of his amendment requiring the completion of 700 miles of double-layer physical fencing along the southern U.S. border by December 31, 2010 from the final version of the Department of Homeland Security appropriations bill as finalized in the Senate-House conference report. He also expresses discouragement at seeing other immigration provisions stripped from the final report. (Oct. 20, 2009)
A fence won't stop illegal immigration, in fact, most of the present fencing has been build by illegals. He is of course right with the statement that illegals have no place in society. Other measures are needed however. Among others enforcing of the laws at hand. It is a disgrace that legal immigrants have more trouble getting in than illegals. On the rape subject, DeMint is not pro rape, he is against frivolous law suits.

Really? Do you have a daughter? He voted against Senator Al Frankens amendment to the Defense Appropriations bill that would in fact punish contractors if they "restrict their employees from taking workplace sexual assault, battery and discrimination cases to court." He's pro rape, are you?

Thank you Senator DeMint for being a good Statesman. As hard as you try I think you are speaking to, in large part, a mob of thugs, traitors, vipers, political prostitutes and cowards. There is coming a day of reckoning for every filthy one of them, hopefully, come next election. If not, justice naturally finds a way of asserting itself in one way or the other. Thank you again for continuing to hold the parasites accountable.

Look at all those jobs they could create just from finishing this...
Thank You, Senator DeMint, for your fight for the people. You are one of the very few keepers...
