  • They always paint Mario as the bozo, but he is a smart man, and very well spoken IMHO.

  • "Some of the South Sydney players, as I would have done in a similar circumstance, made sure he couldn't get a play the ball and knocked the ball out of his hand". Ah the days before video ref.

  • Frank Hyde, Rex Mossop, Ray Hadley, and now - Andrew More.

    The best of the best.

  • Rex is wearing the Jew glasses....

  • @SYDNEYFC7 no way, Rabbits > Rex

  • Lets not compare the two. I love them both so to speak. I remember Rex first back in the mid 70s. He will always hold a special place in my heart. Not ashamed to say I am construction worker who shed a tear when Rex died. RIP REX

  • Ray warrens pretty good - i dont see why it has to be a one of the other opinion, BUT for all his faults, Rex was a legend.

Not many people realise these days that when Rexy took on the 7 commentary in the '70s, Rugy League was minor league stuff. He alone convinced the network to broadcast and its popularity took off. So - its not only just the TV stuff he was famous for - BUT the popularity of the game itself.

REX had a hand in the growth of the game, largely due to his own making !!

  • Rip thank you

  • RIP Rex Mossop, you're always will be the best and most experienced rugby commentator.

  • RIP Rex
