  • Fiberglass dome? Perfekt locality.Jirka.

  • HDPE. Much lighter than fiberglass.

  • Looks pretty cool, but does the dome shell get in the way if you are imaging near the zenith?

  • With a GEM more so than my old fork mount. There is an add-on accessory that lets you slide the dome off entirely, if you want. So far it hasn't bothered me enough to get one, I just plan around it.

  • That must cook inside when closed up during the day. Note sure I would leave the telescope in there when not in use.
