That must cook inside when closed up during the day. Note sure I would leave the telescope in there when not in use.

HDPE. Much lighter than fiberglass.

Looks pretty cool, but does the dome shell get in the way if you are imaging near the zenith?

With a GEM more so than my old fork mount. There is an add-on accessory that lets you slide the dome off entirely, if you want. So far it hasn't bothered me enough to get one, I just plan around it.
