If I could respectfully disagree with your assessment -- although Hunt and Nicholson are perfectly suited for their respective roles, I feel like their chemistry was one of the weaker points of the film. Perhaps it's because the pairing is so unconventional, but I have difficulty convincing myself that the characters could fall in love. For a lesser movie, this would have been a serious problem, but the script and acting are so good that my disbelief hangs itself to preserve my enjoyment.

Jack Nicholson is basically Sheldon Cooper without the brains in this movie. My son is OCD and I am always saying, "I hope he finds his Helen Hunt". Thanks movie, for giving me hope!
