What a waste of a perfectly good Fresnel lens (the screen). You can make a "Solar death ray" out of the screen from one of those (same concept as burning ants with a little magnifying glass, except this is like 1,000x more powerful, and can boil water and melt metal!)

thoes with negative coments havent seen these tv's in person. these old rear projection tv'swere hard to watch. seriously, they were dark and had a really bad picture. and the angle view was non existant. they were also HUGE ... they took a shit load of room. It was a fad, just like the 8 track. . this vid was in 2008. that tv should have been crushed in 1998.
