  • it should be oscar and peterson, because it sounds like 2 people are playing the piano....

  • As an ashamed American, I heartily agree with you. Actually, most Americans cant get into Jazz enough to even be bothered with music when they go to Jazz festivals. Now before everyone starts ripping me a new one, I said "MOST". Obviously if you are digging this video you probably don't fall into that category.

  • interesting.

  • The audio sync of his hands looks pretty spot on to me. I spent two weeks in The Big Apple in the summer of '62, and sat three feet from Oscar every night as he gigged at the legendary Basin Street East jazz club with the late great Ray Brown on bass and Ed Thigpen on drums. I was close enough to hear Oscar's voice scat singing his own lines, and Ray Brown singing parallel lines to his solos as well.

  • i discovered jazz thanks oscar peterson listening to another version of this wonderful tune which i never know the name...

  • the first track i hear form oscar peterson was this track !It was 10 years ago. Since that moment i'm still loving it. i dont know the name of it..if somebody knows..

Oscar is the best! and Errol also !

  • @paulostroff99 Where Oscar is from has nothing to do with this. He was awesome regardless of his country of origin.

  • You moron.Canada does not nor ever did have any KKK peoples-for lack of a more appropriate name.Your delusions oif lynchings and such are those of a demented and otherwise mentally ill person. In closing let me address the public that you are trying so hard to impress without any possibility of a defence-that you have blocked me from answering you directly by blocking me online. You are just too stupid to do it effectively. lol

  • Taildragger53-You show once again by your ignorance that you don't have a well intentioned bone in your body. You don't even know where Georgetown is,let alone how tiny a town it is-and certainly not one with much bigotry. You are a fake and a fraud. Your intentions are not at all honourable nor are they constructive. You are a fool and your motives are highly suspect.

  • Incidentally, i first saw Oscar back in the 1960s.

Met him & his band several times.

He was a real , sophisticated, gentleman and so were his band members.

    Thank you for this video.

  • @paulostroff99 So what if he was Canadian? So are many Natives on the reserves here. Ask THEM how they're treated.
