It is that amazing, I have seen several colosseums and they are all huge and epic and they are hard to climb (you can't go all the way to the top, but you can go to the top of the stands which go pretty high.) (This is mainly for the one in Verona, but what ever, I imagine that The Roman one is just bigger, not in as good a state and much more awesome. The one in Verona still had the pit where they would put the gladiator and the lion and make them fight, it was SO cool.

This might not be about the colosseum, but it is still really neat. All those famous white beautiful statues in Rome and other ancient cities around the time of the Roman empire were once painted. They werent elegant subtle colors. They were bright, eye catching, and clashing. So as you walked around rome your eyes would forever be bombarded with colors.

-built entirely by Jewish slaves in 10 years
-they used an early form of concrete, a roman invention
-aqueducts channeled into the colosseum in order to flood it to reenact famous sea battles and mythology, but they were later destroyed when the much more popular pastime started up -- the gladiators. Then the romans installed trap doors at the

Anyone else bothered that @5:10 Hank doesn't finish his thought?
When you're doing well, you say 'I'm awesome at this game'. When you fail, you say 'Ezio, you suck!'
