we need send our troops in foreign lands to help oppressed people and gain experience not in the UN but more like a joint venture with US Army or French Army or the Indian Army on our own meaning sign a contract with those countries....that way we will know the different terrains, tactics, and make allies and make some money out of it and make our military presence more prominent in the third world.

@Rizwan110682 bro don't take it other ways but it was meant to be...today or tomorrow...because we have a different culture, language, and even in religion...just like the Great Britain and the United States...event though they had similar language, culture, and some what religion, they could not stand together because of the vast Atlantic Ocean in the middle just like us with India...and we were a house divided right from the beginning..so we were made to be broken apart.

who else think that the flapping sound of marching at the end sounds like jikir, la hu la hu.

Being a bangladeshi and weapon specialist, those are modified AK series, remember first AK is what can be modified in any way. That's what makes AK so versatile. But yeah this is a cheap weapon.. Come on we can at least afford some M14A's

Least bothered about what they r carrying or whether they are rich or poor but these guys have a determined patriotic looks in their faces. I am an Indian-Bengali, so seeing a bunch of Bengali fighters is very endearing. Hope we will fight our common enemy terrorism together. Regards from India.

100% infantry should be commando - capable of guerrilla warfare against invading force.
Man, I don't know how heaviness of those troops gear. But moving at that tempo for that long of a distance has got to be exhausting. Those grunts have got to be in great shape. Freaking awesome.
Hooah!

@1badworld The webbing kit weighs 40 KG's excluding assault rifle (add another 5 KG) and yes Bangladesh Army Infantry are some of the toughest around in terms of training and performance. Thank you for your comments.

Cheap Chinese made AKs. It makes sense for a poor country to purchase well made arms at less cost. Poorer countries always buy Chinese made weapon systems because they are well made and very affordable. There are alternatives now instead of China, e.g., N. Korea, Azerbaijan, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Poland, Brazil, India, Pakistan, Turkey, etc.

@Search4diabetescure These are actually not "Chinese made AKs" as you put it but rather fully made in Bangladesh as stated in the video commentary. If they fulfil the mission requirements without being overly expensive then it is better than frequently jamming, overpriced Western hardware. Operators of this rifle in the Bangladesh forces have complemented the BD-08 assault rifle for its reliability whereas they found M-4s jamming frequently. Even South Korean made were more reliable. Thank you.

@bdmilitary - For you information, I thought you might like to know this. Actually, the BD-08 is the same as Type 81 Assault Rifle. Country of origin: China. If you don't believe me, please feel free to do your own research. Chinese weapon systems are effective, and very inexpensive to purchase. Countries with tight military budgets buy Chinese system. There is no shame in it. Sri Lanka equips its infantry with Chinese made AKs. Apparently, your country purchased an upgraded version of the AK

@Search4diabetescure I know that the BD-08 is a BANGLADESHI MADE Type 81-1, you don't need to teach me about a weapons system I am familiar with already. The original contention was that you claimed that the weapon was imported from China and I corrected you.
