March 2011 in New York started off with a big rain storm followed by one of the best days of surf in a while. Howling offshores, and a southeast head high+ swell crafted these perfectly groomed a-frames unloading on a waist deep sandbar.

Surfandsk8, that was great fun to watch! That offshore wind was screaming! I bet it made it a bear to paddle into those waves, especially wearing full suits. March in New York is still pretty brutal cold yeah? Good footage and good surfing. Were those locals tearing it up or storm chasing pros? Riders were awesome!
