  • My big question is how long does the batteries last, and how long do they last before charging is required.

  • Please throw out the battery and build this car with a combustion engine. It could be a big hit. It's an American Lotus.

And why couldn't Chrysler come up with a similar model sooner? Do they have to go "green" now? If reasonably priced this car could sell. That is, if it uses gas.

  • Chrysler makes things like gas guzzling SRTs.... They are also one of the worlds largest makers of EVs.

  • they should make this the avenger for 2013

  • @seanymak2112 200 miles check wikipedia

  • Global Warming is caused by sun activity, not co2, and there is plenty if oil, saying that its running out is simply good foor business.

So please put a 5 liter V8 in that thing, and you got a hell of a car.

  • I think this car is slated to sell for between $50 - $80,000

  • The larger battery packs actually make cooling an safety harder. The ESS is modular anyway.

But all current batteries will be trumped by nanowire and other improvements already coming out of the labs long before any replacements are necessary. Those next modules will probably get 3-10X the range.

  • ummm...... i like sports cars WITH sound

at least emulate some type of exhaust sound or something!

  • BURNOUT PLEASE!
