Sam Finkelstein Says YES to Transit

Sam with the Transportation Equity Network attended the Say YES to Transit Summit and took time to share his thoughts on the event.

Rep. Tom Petri and Rep. Reid Ribble participated in the Say YES to Transit where each pledged their support and commitment to keep transit moving. Both will work with their fellow Congresspersons to maintain federal operational funding to our transit systems.

Say YES to Transit Summit was an event held in Appleton by ESTHER and JOSHUA on August 12th. Together, with over 250 participants, we called for action to be taken at the federal level. Valley Transit and Green Bay Metro face a severe funding loss because of a poorly designed formula at the federal level that does not work for small transit systems in non-metropolitan areas.
