Olóige

Äntligen är det nya projektet färdigt. Detta är videon till mitt senaste verk, Olóige, eller Für Angelica 2 om man tycket det är lättare att uttala.
Filmen består av ett fåtal inspelningar, alla vid samma tidpunkt under olika nätter, som alla har anknytning till temat Evig Sömn, Kikar Tidur, Eternal Sleep, Codlata Síoraí eller Sommeil Éternel. Visst klingar det dåligt på översättningarna men det är den kalla, rena kärnan av det jag letar efter.
Musiken är inspelningar från bland annat kranar och maskiner i hamnen. Det är också några inspelningar av elgitarr med en stråke. Därefter har jag, för omväxlings skull inte gjort jättemycket på digital väg. Det vill säga jag har inte lagt till effekter i efterhand. Jag ville från början ha en jockey med, men när filmmaterialet var färdigt insåg jag att det skulle bara blivit för mycket.

At last, the new project is finished. This is the video for my latest work, Olóige, or Für Angelica 2 if you find that easier to pronounce.
The film consists of a few recordings, all at the same time of the night, all of which are related to the theme of my new project; Eternal sleep, Kikar Timer, Evig Sömn, Codlata Síoraí or Sommeil Éternel. Sure it sounds terrible translated but it is the pure core of the expression I'm looking for.
The music is recordings including cranes and machinery in the harbour. There are also some recordings of me playing the electric guitar with a bow. This time, for a change, I have'nt done very much in with the help of my computer. That is, I have not added effects or redundant noises afterwards. Originally, I wanted a jockey to be included, but when the footage was finished, I realized that it would just become too much.
I hope you enjoy it, I know I do. So lean back and enjoy!

really good this time, I didn't fancy your last one Für Angelica, it was way to wierd. But this is actually really great. I love the cranes and the machinery, but sure you must have been using some fx?

A Jockey would be suitable, but since the audio is as shifting as it is, it's much better this way.
