  • When big companies give massive campaign contributions illegally to persuade congressmen to vote for their cause, THAT'S LOBBYING.

  • Maybe, if you grease my palm, I will give this video a thumbs up.

  • This video is brainwashing for the ignorant. The comments and ratio of likes:dislikes, demonstrates that the majority of the people did not fall for this crap!!

  • lobbying is fucking legal corruption!

  • I'm sorry, but what you are describing here, is cause-based activism. Thanks for buying my government though. Really helpful.

  • fuck lobbying .. most lobbyists are corporate thugs

  • HaHa, just watched the 60 minutes video called "60 minutes: buying up politicians"

    LoL.

If government were limited as should be, there would be no reason for lobbyists. Nobody is going to petition government if they have a limited role in the economy by law.

  • 1:54 "...POLICY influencers" lol

  • lol ethics and rules. what a load of dung!. lobbyists are what got america where it is now. in debt and under attack from citizens. pure and simple greed

  • In 2008, 94% of US election winners spent the most money on their campaigns. Clearly money is the single most important factor in determining an election.

If lobbyists were simply ambassadors between corporations/interest groups and politicians, and they couldn't facilitate donations, they could serve valuable roles to the betterment of our country. For now though, they help money speak louder than our votes, and are a cancer to American democracy.
