@biggurs As a 330d owner, I can back up your points!! ITS SO AWESOME!!!. Being the LCI E90, it has 245hp and 520NM so its more powerful and because its a 3 Series, its lighter :D. What a car and engine combination! Yeah, the 20d is a great engine but the N57's will go down in history as the engine that took diesel and showed the world the new generation of power, performance and efficiency. Tractor fuel? Ha! With a 0-60 time of 5.9s, a sublime, aggressive yet smooth soundtrack and 45MPG!!?? Oh

I have a 530d and the amount of torque it has is unbelievable. Yes a V8 has more bhp but it doesnt have as much torque or its ROUGHLY the same.
Please read up between the difference for power (BHP) and TORQUE.
In the wet if I put my foot down on the throttle FAIRLY hard, the car in a wet open car park, tarmac, even with new tyres, without the traction control on, the car has so much torque that the wheels spin all over the place and its bloody great fun!

@vrednie I mean that more sarcastically I'm more open minded than that but, I find sense in simplicity.

@sunnymuffins13208 Why bother. The Diesel Kill the V8 For torque anyway

Wet tarmac and wet tires doesn't count.
