baby budgie, tragic result of abuse and neglect

Binky, the baby budgie was a victim of neglect and abuse in the very first few weeks of her life. She spent her last month in my care, being loved, adored, cared for, but it was all too little, too late to undo the devastating harm already done to this sweet little innocent.

Just want to say such a heartfelt thankyou to the thousands of you who have taken the time to watch my dear little Binky's sad story, and to the hundreds and hundreds of you who have taken her into your hearts and commented so passionately on her behalf, well, what can I say..I loved her so, so much & I cant tell you what it means when I see this huge outpouring of anger and compassion for what one person saw as totaly without value, worthless in every way.THANKYOU, with all my heart THANKYOU xx

i also think maybe instead of a vet you could of took her to an animal hospital instead they take things like this as an emergency meaning they would take care of her right away and cure and they probably can cure her though

@humenspider7 Hi HS.7, the veterinary surgery I use is actualy an animal hospital, and it was an avian vet she was seeing.She was just too far gone, everything was just that little bit too late to undo the harm already done.Even the vets at the vetinary hospital were surprised how far she actually came. I'll always be glad she got to know the feeling of warmth, love,support, but the fact that this desperate battle was ever needed still rips my heart apart. Never got over this one..

I'm so glad I rescued my birds before this happened to them. The woman who had Cobalt and Kiwi got them because 'she liked the sounds of birds in the morning'. They spent three months ina tiny 1 foot by 1 foot cage with nothing but a plastic perch, a wooden ladder, and their food adn water bowls. The bowls were teenie, and the water was constantly overdosed with mineral suppliment. Now, they have 3 budgie friends, a huge 5 foot tall by 3 feet wide flight cage, and free range of my room 24/7 <3

AH it made me cry to see how much love and care one little birdie got after being so beaten up and... ~wipes away my tears~ thank you for trying to save little binky.... i wish there was more someone could have done to help the little dear.

oh my goodness, ive never cried so much at a youtube tribute. ive got a budgie myself and I love him to pieces, hes a living thing at the end of the day and has feelings. I cant stop crying lol, that really touched my heart xx
